CBAM Carbon Cost Calculator
Know your carbon border cost before you ship
The EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) is now in its definitive phase from January 2026. Calculate how much carbon levy your Indian exports will face when entering the EU.
⚡ Q1 2026 CBAM certificate price: €75.36 per tonne CO₂ — officially published by the European Commission on 7 April 2026. Importers of 50+ tonnes of CBAM goods per year must register as authorised CBAM declarants.
Rules of Origin Checker
Does your product qualify for FTA preferential duty?
Under the EU-India FTA, only products that are "sufficiently processed" in India or the EU qualify for zero/reduced duty. Tell us about your product and supply chain and we'll assess your FTA eligibility.
✦ Under the FTA, you self-certify origin via a Statement on Origin — no government stamp needed. But getting it wrong can mean losing duty preferences and facing penalties. This checker helps you get it right.
EU Grant & Funding Finder
Find EU funding for your India trade activity
The EU has over €1.4 billion in SME funding in 2026 alone — but most SMEs never find it. Tell us about your business and we'll match you to the most relevant programmes.
✦ These are AI-matched suggestions based on publicly available EU funding programmes. Always verify eligibility and deadlines directly with the funding body before applying.
Trade Readiness Score
How ready are you to trade the EU-India corridor?
Answer 20 quick questions across 5 dimensions. Get an AI-powered score out of 100 with personalised action plan — like a credit score for your trade readiness.
How the score is calculated: Your answers across 5 dimensions are weighted by importance to EU-India FTA trade success. Documentation & Compliance (30%) carries the most weight because missing paperwork is the #1 reason SMEs lose FTA duty preferences. Each dimension gives you a sub-score, combined into an overall score out of 100. The score helps you identify gaps before they become costly at customs.
What the score is used for: Self-assessment before entering EU-India trade · Identifying priority action areas · Sharing with trade finance providers to show creditworthiness · Benchmarking against other SMEs in your sector · Included in your company profile on this platform (optional).

SME Health Suite — Business Suite
Cash Flow Health Check
Assess your cash flow risk specifically for EU-India trade — 60-90 day payment cycles, EUR/INR exposure, and working capital gaps that Indian exporters and EU importers face on this corridor.
✦ Designed for the EU-India corridor. Generic cash flow tools miss the specific pain of waiting 90 days for EU payment while covering Indian production costs.
SME Health Suite — Business Suite
GDPR Readiness Checker
The EU-India FTA opens 144 service sub-sectors — but Indian IT firms and BPOs handling EU personal data must comply with GDPR. Fines up to 4% of global turnover. Most Indian companies don't know where to start.
⚠ GDPR applies to Indian companies if you process EU personal data — regardless of where your company is based.
SME Health Suite — Business Suite
Cybersecurity Readiness Score
EU supplier security requirements (NIS2, Oct 2024), cross-border data risks, and payment fraud in international transactions create specific cybersecurity exposure for EU-India trading businesses.
SME Health Suite — Business Suite
FX Risk Advisor
EUR/INR has moved 8-12% in a single year. For an Indian exporter with a €100,000 contract, that is ₹8-10 lakh of P&L impact from currency alone. Calculate your exposure and get hedging recommendations.
SME Health Suite — Business Suite
Invoice Health Checker
A single missing field on an export invoice can trigger customs delays, lose FTA duty preferences, or cause payment rejections. This checker validates against both EU customs requirements and Indian GST export rules simultaneously.

Working Capital Calculator
Calculate the gap between when you spend (production, shipping) and when you get paid. Get recommendations for pre-shipment finance, ECGC, factoring, or bank OD to bridge the gap.

About IndiaEU Connect
Built because the opportunity was too big to leave to chance
The EU-India Free Trade Agreement is the largest trade deal either side has ever signed — a free trade zone of 2 billion people. Yet most SMEs on both sides will never benefit from it, simply because they lack the tools, knowledge, and access that large corporations take for granted.
Why this platform was built
The founder spent 13 years at Mastercard working on EU payment corridors and SME banking partnerships across 30 European markets. The recurring insight across every country and every sector was the same: SMEs have the products, the ambition, and the market — but they consistently hit a wall of complexity that only large companies with legal and compliance teams can afford to navigate.

When the EU-India FTA was concluded in January 2026, the opportunity was clear. The agreement mandates a publicly accessible digital platform for SMEs — and nothing like it existed. IndiaEU Connect was built to fill that gap, using AI to deliver in minutes what previously required expensive consultants or simply went undone.
What the FTA says about platforms like this
The EU-India FTA Chapter on SMEs explicitly requires both parties to create "a single publicly accessible digital platform" providing information on tariffs, non-tariff measures, rules of origin, customs procedures, and market entry requirements. It mandates SME contact points to help smaller businesses access FTA benefits.

IndiaEU Connect is the private-sector delivery of that mandate — available now, before the official government platforms are operational, and built with AI so it can do in 2 minutes what government portals take 2 weeks to answer.
